If you’re looking for an effective, natural sunscreen for the entire family, Alba Botanica’s Very Emollient Mineral Sunscreen for Kids Broad Spectrum SPF 30 is an ideal product to start with. I consistently used this mineral (zinc oxide/titanium dioxide) sunscreen with great results during a recent Hawaiian vacation. While the Alba Botanica sunscreen is thick and takes a little more effort to apply, it will prevent you from getting sunburned if used properly and often. The product is unscented and gentle enough to use on the entire family. I usually apply a natural moisturizer five minutes before using this sunscreen. This way, my skin is properly nourished and protected from the Sun’s damaging effects.

South of France’s Orange Blossom Honey Bar Soap is a sweet-smelling, gentle body cleanser that is a pleasure to use. Its ergonomic shape makes it easy to grasp while bathing. Sadly, I’m very clumsy with bar soaps – they often slip through my fingers in the shower and get chipped or dented. Luckily, this was not the case with the South of France bar soap. The uplifting orange blossom scent left me wanting to take a longer shower. The soap stays firm and doesn’t overly soften up like many other bar soaps do. At less than five dollars, South of France’s Orange Blossom Honey Bar Soap is a fine value for a great body cleanser.

Kiehl’s Olive Fruit Oil Nourishing Shampoo is one of the most nourishing shampoos I’ve used in some time. The shampoo has a creamy texture that squeezes out cleanly. The scent is slightly floral with very subtle citrus notes. Kiehl’s Olive Fruit Oil Nourishing Shampoo is concentrated, so a little goes a long way. That little amount of shampoo thoroughly cleans without leaving the hair feeling dry and stripped of its natural oil. If you have dry hair, Kiehl’s Olive Fruit Oil Nourishing Shampoo is a luxurious splurge worth investing in.
