Kiehl's Amino Acid Shampoo Ingredients List

Overall Rating: ★★★★
Price: $$$ ($20-$30) – Available at Kiehl’s and Nordstrom.
Scent: Mild coconut.
I Like: the subtle coconut fragrance. This product effectively cleans hair without stripping it of vital oils.
Not a fan of: the paraben preservatives.

Kiehl’s Amino Acid Shampoo is a great-smelling all-around hair wash.  The mild coconut scent makes washing hair fun and relaxing – I close my eyes and imagine being on a tropical island every time I shampoo with this stuff.  This product lathers up well and gently cleans hair without stripping it of essential oils.   I recommend this trying this shampoo especially if you have normal to oily hair.

The Organic Bath Co. Mountain Sage Face & Body Moisturizer for Men Ingredients List

Overall Rating: ★★★★
Price: $ (under $10) – Available at The Vitamin Shoppe and Amazon.
Scent: Fresh blend of lemon, eucalyptus, and sage.
I like: how natural the product is.  This versatile lotion absorbs easily into the skin.
Not a fan of: nothing really.  The scent is a bit too lemony for my taste.  However, the smell quickly fades away.

Prior to a recent chance visit to my local Vitamin Shoppe, I had never heard of The Organic Bath Company’s Mountain Sage Face & Body Moisturizer for Men.  The product’s packaging is nothing to write home about.  Let’s be honest – it’s pretty ugly.  What convinced me to purchase this moisturizer was what the product didn’t have: sulfates, parabens, artificial scents, petroleum by-products, and a high price tag.  Nowhere else could I find such a large-sized (14.2 fluid ounces) natural face and body moisturizer for men for under eight dollars.  I like the lotion’s versatility – it really is effective at moisturizing both the face and body.  The lotion’s jojoba oil content nourishes without making your skin feel greasy.  The lemon scent may take some getting used to, but it’s a small price to pay for using such a natural, effective moisturizer.

Scent: Fragrance Free
I Like: the sun and wind protection this product provides. Keeps lips and area around the eyes properly nourished.
Not a fan of: the petroleum and paraben preservative ingredients.

Whether you’re hitting the slopes or the surf, Anthony Logistics for Men’s Sun Stick SPF 15 is a reliable companion.  Use it on the lips and the area around the eyes to keep them from getting burned.  Because the sun protection factor on this product is relatively low, you’ll need to reapply it at least once every 1-2 hours.  The size of the stick is large (0.6 ounces) compared to traditional lip balms (0.15 ounces) and therefore harder to lose.  Use it to avoid the dreadful face burn the next time you’re exposed to the sun for a prolonged period of time.
