Kiehl's Facial Fuel Energizing Moisture Treatment for Men
Kiehl's Facial Fuel Energizing Moisture Treatment for Men Ingredients List
Overall Rating: ★★★★☆
Price: $$$ ($20-$30) – Available at Kiehl’s and Nordstrom.
Scent: Light menthol with a hint of citrus.
I Like: how light the moisturizer feels. The cooling effect helps to wake me up.
Not a fan of: the paraben preservatives.
Kiehl’s Facial Fuel Energizing Moisture Treatment for Men effectively moisturizes your face without making it feel overly greasy. I enjoy how the lotion feels slightly cool – perfect for the mornings or any time I need a recharge. It contains caffeine, which is known for its anti-inflammatory properties – great for soothing razor burn. Because this product doesn’t provide sun protection, it’s more ideal for use indoors or at night. Sun worshippers needn’t worry – Kiehl’s also makes a sunscreen version of this moisturizer with a sun protection factor of 15.

Lab Series Max LS Instant Eye Lift Tube with Pump Dispenser
Overall Rating: ★★★★☆
Price: $$$$$ ($40-$50) – Available at Lab Series, Macy’s, and Sephora.
Scent: None
I liked: how it tightened the area around my eyes and made my dark circles less noticeable.
I didn’t like: the pump dispenser.
The MAX LS Instant Eye Lift by Lab Series is a great eye cream specifically targeted at men. It is very light in texture and fragrance-free. What I noticed first when using this product was how effective it was at lightening the dark circles around my eyes – note: the effect was temporary but much appreciated nonetheless. In addition to providing a slight tingling sensation to awaken my eyes, this cream tightened the skin which made my crows feet a little less noticeable. It did a fairly good job at minimizing eye puffiness. Standout ingredients include: cucumber, caffeine, algae, sweet almond, green tea, aloe, and vitamin E. Some may appreciate the unique pump dispenser – I, however, was not a big fan of it. I worry that when I get to the end of the tube I’ll have to cut it open to dispense the remaining amount. If you have the cash to spend on a higher-end eye cream that works well at treating dark circles, lines, and puffiness around the eyes, Lab Series Max LS Instant Eye Lift is a candidate worth considering.
Overall Rating: ★★★★★
Price: $$$ ($20-$30) – Available at Origins and Macy’s.
Scent: Undetectable.
I liked: that the eye cream was effective at lightening dark circles and decreasing puffiness around the eyes. Its thick texture helped to keep the area around my eyes moisturized.
I didn’t like: the initial invigorating sensation. It almost does too good a job at “waking” your eyes up.
Origins Ginzing Refreshing Eye Cream is a great non-gender specific moisturizer that effectively lightens dark circles and decreases puffiness around the eyes. It contains panax ginseng, caffeine from coffee, and “natural optic brighteners” to revive tired-looking eyes. Be careful not to apply too much of this eye cream at once. My eyes initially watered because I used a generous amount of the product around the eyes – they felt way too invigorated (perhaps too much of a good thing?). At .5 ounces, a jar of Origins Ginzing eye cream is easy to carry around and will come in handy on mornings after those fun but rough nights.
Kiehl’s Facial Fuel Eye De-Puffer Ingredients List
Overall Rating: ★★★★☆
Price: $$ ($10-$20) – Available at Kiehl’s and other higher end retailers.
Scent: No noticeable scent.
I liked: how refreshing it felt around the eyes. The product did a great job at moisturizing and minimizing the puffiness around my eyes. The small size makes it ideal for carrying around at all times – fits comfortably in my pocket. Contains caffeine, Arctic Root, and hibiscus extract.
I didn’t like: that it wasn’t as effective at minimizing the dark circles around my eyes.
Overall, Kiehl’s Facial Fuel Eye De-Puffer is an effective, convenient product for moisturizing and reducing puffiness around the eyes. It also makes for a great eye refresher that can be used at any time. If you go on a bender and need help looking alive the following day, this eye “de-puffer” will come in handy.
