I liked: how it tightened the area around my eyes and made my dark circles less noticeable.
I didn’t like: the pump dispenser.
The MAX LS Instant Eye Lift by Lab Series is a great eye cream specifically targeted at men. It is very light in texture and fragrance-free. What I noticed first when using this product was how effective it was at lightening the dark circles around my eyes – note: the effect was temporary but much appreciated nonetheless. In addition to providing a slight tingling sensation to awaken my eyes, this cream tightened the skin which made my crows feet a little less noticeable. It did a fairly good job at minimizing eye puffiness. Standout ingredients include: cucumber, caffeine, algae, sweet almond, green tea, aloe, and vitamin E. Some may appreciate the unique pump dispenser – I, however, was not a big fan of it. I worry that when I get to the end of the tube I’ll have to cut it open to dispense the remaining amount. If you have the cash to spend on a higher-end eye cream that works well at treating dark circles, lines, and puffiness around the eyes, Lab Series Max LS Instant Eye Lift is a candidate worth considering.
J, I hope you’re doing well. I found your site via Youtube while searching for reviews of this product. I noticed you said “it has some kick.” Can you elaborate on that a bit? I was using the Age Rescue + Eye Therapy by Lab Series, but they’ve added ginseng which, for some reason, irritates my eyes so I returned it. The same affect happened to me with an eye cream from Origins. The new formula for Age Rescue + Eye Therapy from LS is also thicker now; not as light-weight and smooth. I’ve used many products from Anthony Logistics, Zirh, Origins, Kheils, etc.
So when you say “kick”, is it a sensation that causes the eyes to water? I got a sense of fumes from the surrounding area, such as a release of the ginseng which caused watery eyes and puffiness at the end of the day. I’d appreciate hearing back from you, thanks!
Hi David,
Thank you for visiting! The kick I was referring to described the cooling sensation of the cream – which I’m sure could cause some tears if you have sensitive eyes. Hope this helps!
Cheers,
JD
